Founded by the denial of a simple cup of tea - yet a small moment that started a legacy. Light Upon Light (nonprofit organization) grows from lived experience, led by a differently-abled woman who belongs to the very community she is fighting for. Through advocacy, accessibility, education, and equality, she is creating a community where dignity is honored, belonging is expected, and differences are celebrated. Rest assured that at Light Upon Light, every human being is deserving of - and will receive - a cup of tea.

At Light Upon Light, our Board of Directors is more than titles and positions - they are individuals with passions, skills, and lived experiences that shape who they are. Instead of traditional headshots, we've chosen to highlight each member through their initials and the hobbies or talents that inspire them. This reflects who they are beyond the boardroom and reminds us that no matter our title, ability, race, or religion, at the end of the day, it's our humanity that matters most.
